People must sometimes wonder what this is doing here, because sometimes I do too. So, I'll try and justify this use of bandwidth here.

wheeee.org?
Wheeee! An expression of delight. Could be genuine, like a kid going down a slide, or sarcastic, like 'Wheeee! Britney Spears is on the radio!'. The beauty lies in the ambiguity.
OK smartarse, but why wheeee.org? You thought of that after!
OK, you got me. Wheeee! started when my mate Gordon introduced me to SHOUTcast streaming audio. I was hooked from the word go. When setting up a SHOUTcast server, you have to give your stream a name. All I could think of was Wheeee! I was quite serious about it for a while, it was great not having to take a stack of CDs into work. I registered the domain wheeee.org. I had a wee site running which told users what was currently playing on the stream, with silly home made pictures of arcade game characters playing guitars. Well, that went fine for a while, then one day, the box that Wheeee! was running on died. Capacitors on the motherboard swollen. I was a bit skint at the time, so I was unable to repair or replace. This laid dormant for a while, until I realised what a neat domain I had. So I resurrected it as my soapbox.
